Welcome to Colliery Lane Lodges, nestled in the charming village of Linton. Our peaceful retreat offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, making it the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway.
Situated just a stone’s throw away from Swadlincote, and surrounded by picturesque villages such as Castle Gresley, Overseal, Rosliston, Cauldwell, and Botany Bay, our location is truly something special.
We also have a private fishing lake filled with good-sized carp, perch roaches and other fish too. If you have fishing experience, then you are welcome to fish in the lake for the small cost of £5 per day.

In addition to the abundance of activities, in our village, we have a convenience store with a post office, a local pub, 2 churches, a village hall, a Chinese takeaway and a chip shop.
We also have some lovely walks, bike ride tracks and local parks to visit or if you’re looking for something a little further afield, Drayton Manor is 16 miles away and Alton Towers is about an hour’s drive or taxi journey away.
